Privacy Policy

DXB Units (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by F A M Real Estate Broker L.L.C, 304, Bay Square Building 13, Bay Square, Business Bay, Dubai, 215088, United Arab Emirates. We run www.dxbunits.com (the “Platform”), a property platform for real estate agents and investors in the United Arab Emirates.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It applies to visitors, registered agents and investors, and to agents we contact about joining the Platform.

2.1 — Agents

• Name, phone number, WhatsApp number, and email address
• RERA / BRN number
• Your agency and the areas you work in
• Enquiries, viewings, offers, and deals you take part in
• WhatsApp conversations with our assistants and with Sofia, our AI assistant

2.2 — Investors

• Name, phone number, WhatsApp number, and email address
• Property preferences, enquiries, viewings, and deals
• WhatsApp conversations with our assistants and with Sofia, our AI assistant

2.3 — Information Collected Automatically

• IP address, browser type, and device identifiers
• Pages visited, brochures opened and downloaded, and time spent on the Platform
• Referral URLs and campaign tags used to arrive at the Platform
• Cookies and similar technologies, if you accept them (see Section 7)

2.4 — Information from Third Parties

• Agents' work numbers received from agencies we work with or from their WhatsApp groups
• Business contact details of brokers in imported lists

Section 13 explains how we use this data and how you can stop it.

We process personal data under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) for the following purposes:

Where we rely on consent, we ask for it with a separate, clear action, such as the Accept button in the cookie banner or a marketing checkbox. It is never pre-selected. You can withdraw consent at any time, and this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following cases.

We may disclose data to government authorities, regulators, or courts when UAE law requires it.

If our business is merged or sold, personal data may pass to the successor, which remains bound by the protections in this Policy.

When the period ends, we delete or anonymise the data.

We use essential cookies to make the site work. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Meta tools run only if you click Accept. This data may be processed in the USA and EU. You can change your choice anytime in Cookie Settings.

If you accept, we also send Meta hashed identifiers through its Conversions API, so that we can measure our advertising. If you reject or do not choose, we do not.

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure:

• Encrypted connections (TLS) for data in transit
• Role-based access for staff
• One-time code verification for sign-in
• Unit details restricted until an agent is verified

If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the competent UAE authority as the law requires. No system is entirely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under the PDPL you can:

• Access your data and ask how we obtained it
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erase your data, subject to legal retention obligations
• Restrict processing in certain circumstances
• Port your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Object to processing, including marketing and decisions made only by automated means
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Complain to the UAE Data Office

To use these rights, contact us as shown in Section 15. Requests are free of charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply within thirty (30) days.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or social media platforms. This Privacy Policy applies only to the DXB Units Platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their policies.

The Platform is for people aged 18 and over.

Our server is hosted in Cyprus (EU), and the providers listed in Section 5.1 may process data in the USA, the EU, and other countries where they operate. We transfer personal data outside the UAE only under data processing agreements with these providers, or on another basis permitted by the PDPL.

13.1 — Marketing

We market with consent and an easy opt-out. New contacts receive marketing only if they tick the marketing box. Every WhatsApp and email campaign says who we are and how to unsubscribe. If you reply STOP or unsubscribe, we remove you and do not send you marketing again.

13.2 — Invitations to Agents

We may receive agents’ work numbers from agencies we work with or from their WhatsApp groups. We use them only to send up to 2 invitations to join DXB Units. You can stop messages anytime by tapping ‘Not interested’ or replying STOP. To ask where we got your number or to delete it, email privacy@dxbunits.com.

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, including the PDPL.
